Dive into reading this summer with our "Oceans of Possibilities" Summer Reading program.
Children, tweens, and teens are encouraged to register for the Summer Reading Program beginning Monday, June 6.
Upon registering, participants ages three and over will be placed on a list to receive their very own ocean-themed Create-A-Critter kit, while supplies last.
Participants under the age of three will be placed on a list to receive their very own board book, while supplies last.
For every three books read or read to them (up to 30), elementary-age children through age 7 will be awarded a brag tag to collect, wear, hang off a backpack, etc. Maximum of 10 brag tags per child.
For tweens (ages 8-12) and teens (ages 13-18), brag tags will be awarded for every book read (up to 10). Maximum of 10 brag tags per tween/teen.
Only books, audiobooks, and graphic novels that are borrowed from Bossard Library count toward the Summer Reading Program.
Items borrowed digitally from the Ohio Digital Library and Hoopla also count toward the Summer Reading Program.
