Summer Reading Sign-up

Kids, Tweens, and Teens:

Stop by the Library starting June 3 to sign-up for this year's Summer Reading Program.

Blast off towards exciting and fun-filled adventures in June and July.

Kids (ages 2-12), we are asking that you try to read 25 books during the summer. If you are too young to read, you can have someone else read to you. For every 5 books that you read, you can stop by the library and receive a small prize (while supplies last). After you read 25 books, you will receive a large prize. You can continue to receive small prizes for every group of 5 books you read after your 25.

Teens (ages 13-19), we are asking you to try to read 8 books during the summer. For every 4 books that you read, you can stop by the library and receive a small prize (while supplies last). After you read 8 books, you will receive a large prize. You can continue to receive small prizes for every group of 4 books you read after your 8.

All books must be borrowed from Bossard Memorial Library, Ohio Digital Library or Hoopla.

You have until August 3 to read your books and receive prizes.

Each week we will have programs for kids and/or teens. Please check our website calendar for the most up-to-date list of programs.

The main purpose of our Summer Reading Program is to encourage kids, tweens, and teens to keep reading during the summer so as not to fall behind in the reading levels they attained during the school year.

We invite you to stop by the Library to sign-up for Summer Reading; attend our Summer Reading programs; and read, read, read during the summer.
